Knights
Move the knight by a legal chess move: two squares one way and one square to the side. Touch every square. You may return to a square you already touched. The score counts every legal move. The square where the knight starts is already touched, and that start is not a move. A path that touches all 64 squares with no repeat visit is 63 moves.
Lauren Stone, an 8th grade student, was the first in class to reach a score of 64.
